Hi, I'm jesse mogle
I think I've always known entrepreneurship was flowing in my blood. My mom told my 7-year-old self that anyone could become a millionaire doing anything if they had the drive and were the OWNER.
Even as a kid, I'd see the garbage man, pizza delivery guy, or sports card collector and think, "If they owned that business and grew it out, they could retire a millionaire."
Today, I can hear someone's idea and expand it into a global enterprise before they are done telling me the whole concept. I thrive in creation mode and crave the energy that taking action manifests.
That shared trait among top leaders, sales professionals, academia, and entrepreneurs - a deep commitment and drive to create AND better the world around them, sets us apart in a truly unique way!
Interesting tid-bits about me...
My favorite hobby is live music. I have attended well over 700 concerts and have seen a handful of bands 20+ times. I am pretty sure this is why it took me 12 years to complete undergrad. Top 4 venues: Deer Creek, Hollywood Bowl, Orion, and anywhere else music is being played and people are dancing and jamming.
My first half-marathon was in Las Vegas, on my mother's birthday, as a celebration of her life. After that, I began mentoring people through a 20-week challenge to prepare them for running a half-marathon to support the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
I graduated from Second City Hollywood, where I honed my improvisational skills and later transitioned into a stand-up comic performing at the Comedy Store, IO West, The Improv, and others lost in the memory.
I once rode my '97 Honda Shadow 12,000 miles through 29 states, spreading my mom's ashes as I celebrated her life and the fifth year of her passing. She is laid to rest in over 200 places on three continents, 17 countries - and enjoys the most spectacular views a loving son can introduce her to.
I interviewed celebrities, musicians, and athletes on red carpets, premiers, and anywhere else I could stand with a mic - you name them, and I saw them. It was a blast. The coolest thing I learned? They are regular people with extraordinary jobs, and the glitz and glam of the spotlight is all smoke and mirrors. They face the same challenges as us; they just may not have to be as critical of the receipts.
My favorites were always the sports broadcasters, like ESPN's Hannah Storm, because that is what I first went to school to do.
